When and why did you start your business?

I started my business about two years ago (2023). I worked in the physical therapy field for many years, but I realized that I really enjoy helping people on a more personal level. So I took the knowledge and love I had of the exercise and health world and put it into a business for women. I really feel like a lot of women today get so lost in what to do to feel their best, it gives them so much stress and a lot of women feel so defeated and overwhelmed, especially as they go through new phases of life. I love that I get to help them navigate it, in a simple and non intimidating way. I feel like a proud mama when they feel proud of themselves.

What's your story?

I'm a North Fork native and I've always really loved being active and healthy. But my view of fitness and overall health has really changed over the years, I now move because it helps me feel like a better, stronger, calmer me, from the inside out, and I want other women to experience that too. The nutrition aspect I think came from learning to deal with some food allergies and stomach issues growing up. I really took matters into my own hands and grew to just love learning about how food affects us and that has really grown into appreciating looking at our bodies from a whole body approach.

What do you offer?

I currently am a mobile personal trainer, which just means I come to you! We can workout in the privacy of your own home which often makes women feel comfortable and saves them a lot of time in their day. I offer one on one training, small group training and zoom sessions. Hopefully soon I will be teaching a few classes at local spots as well!

What else do you want people to know?

I really have been enjoying working with women who are going through perimenopause and menopause. It's not an easy journey but there are SO many simple things that can help you along the way, and I really think that the women in this age group are often the women who see the biggest impact fitness and nutrition can have in their lives. But no matter the stage of life you're in, exercise and food does not have to be this miserable thing that feels like such a chore, it can really be something you look forward to doing for you, because the benefits are not just physical, in fact the most impactful results aren't the ones that are physical, there the ones that make you feel strong or confident. I really just want to be that friend that helps you feel like a more confident and empowered woman, in a fun and balanced way!
