When and why did you start your business?

 I started the business in 2022. I have always dreamed of farming and got amazing opportunity two years ago (2021) and ran with it!

What's your story? 

My name is Benjamin Savercool. I am the owner and operator of Nofo Cattle co. I grew up in Mattituck. I am a first generation farmer! I raise 100% grass fed and organically grown beef here on the North Fork. My cattle are raised on a 20 acre pasture with tons of lush grass. I run a small herd and really try to focus on producing high quality grass fed beef! I don’t overcrowd or over graze the pasture. I want my cattle to have the best forage and live in a low stress environment!

What do you offer?

 I offer both retail cuts and half or whole beef! With the retail cuts, people can buy individual cuts like steaks, ground meat, marrow bones, roast, etc. I also keep organs and beef tongue for people. My beef is butcher by a USDA butcher! All cuts are vacuum sealed, labeled, and weighed! With people that want a half or full cow butchered, they get customized how they want their beef processed and packaged!
